peradaban modern

having read a book written by Larry Gornick I understand that the ‘modern’ civilization is built through a -never-ending war, pathetic but true. starting from Inca being colonized and ‘rapped’ by Spain to indonesia vs netherland.

the way the modern civilization is made is somehow ironical as modern civilization should have been carried out by modern people who should have chosen more human methods inducing the modernity. some wars wich still appear till now i think could be seen as the prolonged wars or the continuation of the old-age wars, thus sometimes the reason lies behind the wars is similar to the ancient wars, only probably it is neatly hidden.

then if the reasons are just the same as the ancient’s i wonder if the wars could ever be stopped?
